At K12 Scholars, our Behavior Intervention Services (BIS) are designed to help students build the skills they need to succeed—both in and out of the classroom. We work closely with families, schools, and districts across Long Island to provide individualized behavior plans and consistent, compassionate support for students facing behavioral, emotional, or social challenges.

At K12 Scholars, we provide supports so our students students are empowered and thriving.

Our Behavior Services

We begin with a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) to understand the root causes of behavioral challenges.

Tailored plans that address each student’s needs, with clear strategies, goals, and measurable outcomes.

Trained behavioral specialists work directly with students to model and reinforce positive behavior in academic and social settings.

We empower families with the tools and strategies they need to reinforce progress at home.

Immediate, structured help for students showing high-risk behaviors. We create safety plans, coach caregivers, and de-escalate situations to keep everyone safe and supported.

Targeted support to help students build communication, peer interaction, and emotional regulation through structured activities and real-world practice.

We partner with school staff, teachers, and district teams to align support, track progress, and ensure consistency across environments.
