“The Einstein-Montefiore Summer High School Research Program introduces high school students age 16 and older to the excitement of leading-edge scientific research. It is our hope that because of this experience, students will begin to think about a career in science while still in high school

Students are selected from a pool of applicants for a five-week full-time summer research experience. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence and be recommended by their high school science teacher and/or science chair. 

Students are assigned to Einstein research labs and will join the lab team under the guidance of the laboratory director (or principal investigator) who will serve as a mentor. ” – Einstein Montefiore
